Commencing from introducing the definition, distribution, geologic and production features of the tight gas reservoirs with low permeability, as well as the trend in development of tight gas reservoir production technology, this book has firstly summarized the mechanism issues resulting in tight sandstone reservoirs with low permeability, then analyzed the problems occurred in tight gas reservoir productivity and well testing, and elaborated the basic issues of gas reservoir engineering in development of tight gas reservoirs such as the production rate, the pressure drop, the layers and well patterns, the reserves controlled by each well, the depletion laws, the abandonment pressure and the recovery factor, to provide reference for design of gas reservoir engineering.
